My Mother’s Love
My mother’s love always with me, since I was born
I came into this world loved and not be alone

A gift from God, a gift divine
A mother so sweet and forever mine

Ever since I was young she has been there
One of many ways to show me she does care

Through righteousness she has been there to be a support
Her love and protection surrounding me like a castle moat

Teaching me through example and very pure
She’s offered forgiveness I could never deserve

She has helped be better and calmed many troubled fears
Wishing I never caused her pain especially all those tears

There is a feeling forever with me, that of my mother’s love
Compared only to a feeling that could be sent from above

Even though we are far and even miles apart
Love and gratefulness I have for her even from my heart

To my mother: I love you and always will
I pray that every day my love for you you’ll feel

Forever you will be my very special mother
I thank God that I have you and none other

I love you mom!

God's Love
You and I, God's children from above
Sent from Him but never without His love
As a nourishing mother would care for her young one
God is our Father, each of us a daughter or a son
Day by day some wonder if He's even there
He is and day after day He does care
So much sorrow upon this earth but we need not fear
Protecting and guiding us is our Father, oh so near
Physically there seems to be a separation
But spiritually there is an eternal connection
His love surrounds us, allow it to embrace you
Loving all, never ending, no matter what we do
Turning to Him, we can feel of His love
There is lasting joy with Him found above

Can you sense the love?
The wind passing through the rays of the sun
Flowers breaking up through the beautiful earth
Mountains with peaks reaching toward Heaven
Can you see the Father's love?

A little child born into the world then to grow
One helping another along the way, lifting one in need
Everyone around, family, friend, neighbor
Can you see the Father's love?

One who has gone from the darkness, now in the light
Sorrow is changed to joy and happiness
Thought struggling we can always find sweet peace
Can you feel the Father's love?

Waves coming to meet the sand and then retreat
Songs of praise to honor Him above
The laughter that is shared so often
Can you hear the Father's love?

Forgiveness for my sins and my transgressions
The ability to choose and make my decisions
Communicating to my Father, I know He lives
I can feel my Father's love.
